Health Education and Promotion Core Requirements (36 credits)
A grade of C- or better is required in all HEP-prefix courses required for the major. An overall GPA of 2.75 is required to graduate in Health Education and Promotion: Community Health. Major coursework may not be taken pass/fail, including major electives. Any of the following statistics courses is a prerequisite for select courses in the major: STAT 1040 , STAT 1045 , STAT 2000 or AP STAT with passing grade.
Required Community Health Professional Core (27 credits)
Elective Courses (select 6 credits, including at least one course from two of the following three areas)
Students must complete 6 credits of elective courses, taking at least one course from two areas (Human Nature, Content and Methods in Education, and Organizational Dynamics in the Family and Community). Content and Methods in Education
