After completing pre-major coursework, students who meet the GPA requirement (3.0 or better) will be eligible for advanced standing in the Didactic Program in Dietetics.
*Students must complete 120 credits to earn a bachelor’s degree, including 40 credits upper division. Consultation with their advisor is important to choose elective courses that will be most effective in helping them reach their academic goals. Dietetics Pre-Major Coursework
The Dietetics: Didactic Emphasis program requires an overall GPA of 3.0 and a major coursework GPA of 3.0 to meet Didactic emphasis admission requirements. The courses below require a grade of C- or better. ENGL 1010 and MATH 1050 can be completed through AP, ACT, or SAT equivalent scores.
Didactic Emphasis Required Courses
The Dietetics: Didactic Emphasis program requires an overall GPA of 3.0 and a major coursework GPA of 3.0. Courses below with an NDFS prefix require a grade of B or better. All other courses require a grade of C- or better.
