Department of Communication Studies and Philosophy

This certificate is an opportunity for students interested in nonprofit or philanthropic work to gain a fundamental understanding of this sector and develop the skills needed to successfully work and lead in nonprofit careers and social programs within businesses. The program is designed with an interdisciplinary approach to serve students from a variety of majors and colleges throughout the university. Courses may not be taken on a pass/fail basis except for those courses which are only taught pass/fail. A maximum of 9 credits may overlap with an additional declared major or minor.
