About This Degree
The degree requires students have a substantial understanding of the criminal justice system in general. It reflects the realities and concerns of society and draws from a wide variety of academic disciplines such as political science, psychology, history and sociology.

Students must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in Criminal Justice courses and an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to graduate.

Admission Requirements for This Program
- New freshmen must be admitted to USU in Good Standing.
- Transfer students from other institutions or other programs at USU must have a 2.75 GPA.
Major Requirements (60 credits)
Students must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in Criminal Justice courses and an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to graduate.
