The standard nonteaching minor consists of 18 credits of various courses, 9 of which must be in upper-division coursework. Twelve of the 18 credits must be earned in residence at USU. Advanced Placement credit, CLEP credit, and credit from ENGL 1010 and ENGL 2010 may not be counted toward this minor. Students must have a 2.5 Overall GPA to declare the English minor and must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA within the minor courses with no grade lower than a C.
