History - Minor

History Minor Requirements (21 credits)

Every student must complete ONE of the following history survey courses (3 credits):

Students may count up to 6 credits of 1000-level and 2000-level coursework toward their minors. NOTE: HIST 1700  does not count toward this requirement.

• HIST 1100 - European History to 1500 (BHU) 3 credit(s)
• HIST 1110 - European History from 1500 (BHU) 3 credit(s)
• HIST 1500 - Pre-Modern World (BHU) 3 credit(s)
• HIST 1510 - The Modern World (BHU) 3 credit(s)
• HIST 2700 - United States to 1877 (BAI) 3 credit(s)
• HIST 2710 - United States 1877-Present (BAI) 3 credit(s)

Upper-Division Electives (18 credits)

Students should complete their remaining 18 credits by taking 3000-and 4000-level history courses for a total of 21 credits in the history minor. At least 3 upper-division credits must be taken in non-US history.

No more than 3 credits of HIST 4930  may be applied toward the minor.
