About This Degree:
The Engineering Technology program offers an immersive, hands-on learning experience designed to cultivate practical skills and innovative thinking. Emphasizing laboratory work and project-based learning, this program allows students to engage directly with cutting-edge technology and real-world applications. From designing and building prototypes to working on interdisciplinary projects, students have the opportunity to design and build solutions to technical problems in a variety of lab spaces, while gaining a robust understanding of engineering technology principles. Graduates are well-prepared for dynamic careers in engineering technology fields, ready to solve complex problems with practical, innovative solutions.

- New freshmen: Admitted to USU in Good Standing
- Transfer students from other institutions or other programs at USU: 2.2 GPA
General Education Requirements
Students will need to complete these courses with a C- or better:

Required Core Courses (77 credits)
Students will need to complete the following courses with a C- or better:
Lower-Division Technical Electives (6 credits required)
Upper-Division Technical Electives (12 credits required)
