Geography is the study of space, place, and the relationships between people and our environment. With studies in geography, students learn essential skills to solve pressing problems at the local, national, and global scale. Geography is an interdisciplinary degree that includes coursework in the physical and social sciences, combined with technical expertise in the field of geographic information science.
All courses required for the minor must be taken on an A-B-C-D-F grade basis. A grade of C- or better is required for all courses used to meet requirements for a minor in Geography. The grade point average for all courses taught by the S.J. and Jessie E. Quinney College of Natural Resources must be a 2.5 or higher.
