Grade Point Average to Declare Minor	2.5 Overall GPA
Grade Point Average to Graduate with Minor and 2.5 GPA within Minor Classes	2.0 Overall GPA
USU Credit Requirement: At least half (50 percent) of the credits earned for this minor must be earned at USU.

Courses for Minors require a minimum grade of C- or better.

AND JAPN 3020 - Japanese Third Year II 4 credit(s)

B. Elective Courses (4 credits)

Students must complete a minimum of four credit hours from the following courses:

JAPN 3050 - Japanese Calligraphy 1 credit(s)
JAPN 3090 - Introduction to Japanese Literature 3 credit(s)
JAPN 3100 - Readings in Contemporary Japanese Culture 3 credit(s)
JAPN 3510 - Japanese for the Business Environment 3 credit(s)
JAPN 3560 - Studies in Japanese Film 3 credit(s)
JAPN 4920 - Japanese Language Tutoring 1 credit(s)

Note:

Gateway to Advanced Japanese, JAPN 3000 (4 credits), is a required transition course for students who are not quite ready to take JAPN 3010 . If the student needs to take JAPN 3000 , it will not count towards the Japanese Minor. Instructors for the third-year courses can give students a waiver of this course based on a valuational interview.

JAPN 3050 and JAPN 4920 are repeatable for credit, and may be taken a maximum of three times.
