Program Description

USU provides the Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies for the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) Category 3.

  • The program includes eight (8) courses. Students must take a minimum of 16 credits from these courses.

  • All courses are offered via distance education (Live Zoom classes in the evenings, and Online/Asynchronous Courses).

  • Tuition: $503/credit hour

  • CRCC Employment Requirement: Twelve (12) months of acceptable work experience under the supervision of a CRC, or twenty-four (24) months of acceptable work experience. Work experience does not need to be completed before applying for the program.

  • Certificate can be completed in as few as three semesters. Courses are offered spring, summer, and fall semesters via distance education. Students have the flexibility to register for as many courses each semester as they desire.

Eligibility

To be eligible for certification in this Category you must have a master’s, specialist, or doctoral degree in Counseling or Social Work. CRCC requires a pre-review of transcripts and work experience.
