Reporting

Students are encouraged to report incidents of sexual misconduct to the USU Title IX Coordinator in the Office of Equity at any time at equity.usu.edu/report. Reports may also be made during business hours by calling 435-797-1266, by visiting the Office of Equity in Old Main, Room 161 at the Logan campus, or via email at titleix@usu.edu. Reporting an incident allows the Office of Equity to reach out and provide information about supportive measures, resources, reporting options, and information regarding a formal complaint. University policy prohibits retaliation against individuals who submit an incident report or participate in the Office of Equity process (Interim USU Policy #339).

Support Services and Academic Assistance

The university may offer supportive measures to individuals (students, faculty, and staff) who have experienced sexual misconduct or discrimination while at the university or who are a party to a sexual misconduct or discrimination proceeding. Supportive measures are designed to address an individual’s safety and well-being and to allow the individual continued access to educational or employment opportunities. These measures can include referrals to counseling and support resources, information related to academic accommodations, no contact orders, and changes in housing or work schedules, as well as other supportive measures, as needed.
