Course Description
First of a two-semester sequence for non-science majors. Progression is made from the basic tenets of general chemistry through an introduction to organic chemistry, with topics being presented in order of practical importance and sophistication.

This course is designed for students whose major does not require the more mathematically intensive CHEM 1210 or CHEM 1220 courses.
