MATH 0990 - Beginning Algebra

3 credits

A first course in algebra. Real numbers; algebraic expressions; graphing and solving equations and inequalities; operations on polynomials; factoring polynomials; rational expressions and equations; and systems of equations. Remedial class not carrying USU or transfer credit.Remedial fee required.


Prerequisite/Restriction: One of the following within the math prerequisite acceptability time limit: (1) C- or better in   , or (2) satisfactory Math Placement Exam score.
