MATH 1030 - Quantitative Reasoning (QL)

QL Quantitative Literacy
3 credits

A general education class intended for non-science students, but open to all students. Topics include logic; problem solving; Numeration Systems; geometry, measurements; probability; statistics; and some algebra. A term paper or research paper will be required.

Prerequisite/Restriction: One of the following within the Math prerequisite acceptability time limit: (1) C or better in  , or (2) Math ACT score of at least 23 (Math SAT score of at least 540), or (3) satisfactory score on Math Placement Exam.

Semester(s) Traditionally Offered: Fall, Spring
