PSC 4870 - Synoptic Meteorology

In this course, students apply the theory behind dynamic meteorology concepts governing the large-scale motions of the mid-latitude atmosphere. Theoretical concepts are paired with real-world weather map analysis lessons to introduce forecasting and interpretation techniques while reinforcing numerical concepts.
