GEO 1110 - Physical Geology (BPS)

BPS Breadth Physical Sciences
3 credits

Covers both the internal and external processes shaping the earth. Major topics covered include plate tectonics, minerals, volcanism, igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks, earthquakes, mass wasting, and landforms associated with streams, ground water, glaciation, deserts and coastal processes. 

Corequisite: GEO 1115
