MAE 5670 - Fracture Mechanics 3 credits
Covers linear elastic and elastic-plastic fracture mechanics; micro-mechanisms of fracture in metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, and concrete; and failure analysis of engineering. Enrollment limited to students accepted into College of Engineering.
Prerequisite/Restriction: Grade of C- or better in MAE 2160 and grade of D or better in MAE 3040 . Student must be in the Professional Engineering Program or have Graduate Standing.
