MATH 5610 - Computational Linear Algebra and Solution of Systems of Equations

3 credits

Numerical solutions of systems of linear and nonlinear equations, methods for eigensystems, least squares problems, finding roots of functions and nonlinear systems, constrained and unconstrained optimization.

Prerequisite/Restriction: C- or better in MATH 2210 , C- or better in MATH 2250  or MATH 2270 , and a high-level programming language.
