MATH 5620 - Numerical Solution of Differential Equations

3 credits

Numerical solution of differential equations, initial and boundary value problems, finite difference, finite element, and spectral methods (FFT) applied to ODEs and PDEs.

Prerequisite/Restriction: C- or better in MATH 2210 ; C- or better in MATH 2250  or MATH 2270 ; C- or better in MATH 2280 ; and a high-level programming language.
