NURS 1020 - Fundamental Concepts of Nursing 5 credits
This course lays the foundation for the development of nursing knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes fundamental to nursing practice. Students are introduced to the basic application of the nursing process. Nursing assessment focuses on identifying human needs and grouping supporting data into NANDA domains. The fundamentals of mental health nursing are also explored.
