Health Education and Promotion Core Requirements (36 credits)


A grade of C- or better is required in all HEP coursework. An overall GPA of 2.75 is required to graduate in Health Education and Promotion: Community Health. Any of the following statistics courses is a prerequisite for select courses in the major: STAT 1040, STAT 1045, STAT 2000 or AP STAT with passing grade.

Elective Courses (select 6 credits, including at least one course from two of the following three areas)


Students must complete 6 credits of elective courses, taking at least one course from two areas (Human Nature, Content and Methods in Education, and Organizational Dynamics in the Family and Community).
