The BA degree is a general art degree for the student who is not interested in specializing in one area of art. Students who desire to receive a BA degree in Art must meet the university language requirements and must earn a minimum of 50 semester credits in Art leaving approximately 54 credits to fulfill all other General Education and University Studies requirements.  A GPA of 2.75 is required for the BA degree. No grade less than C is acceptable in any foundation classes. No grade less than B- is acceptable in any other other art class. No grade less than C is acceptable in any art history class. This degree does not fulfill the requirements for entrance into the graduate schools of art.
