The BA degree is a general art degree for the student who is not interested in specializing in one area of art. Students who desire to receive a BA degree in Art must meet the university language requirements and must earn a minimum of 50 semester credits in Art, leaving approximately 54 credits to fulfill all other General Education and University Studies requirements. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required for the BA degree. A grade of B- or better is required in all art (ART) and art history (ARTH) classes. Major requirements may not be taken on a pass/fail basis, except ART 2700 . This degree does not fulfill the requirements for entrance into the graduate schools of art.
