Description: The Theatre Education Minor is specifically designed for students seeking careers teaching theatre in K-12 education. The minor is only available to students completing a teaching major. Space is limited and acceptance is competative and not guaranteed.
- MINOR EXPECTATIONS: Students are expected to develop proficiency in pedagogy, artistry, academic/scholarship, leadership/service, and professionalism appropriate for K-12 theatre educators.
- APPLICATION: Students must apply and interview for the Theatre Education minor in order to be considered for acceptance.
- MINIMUM GRADE ACCEPTED: B for all courses in the minor. Students may not use the P/F/D option for courses required for the minor.
- MINIMUM GPA FOR ADMISSION AND GRADUATION: 3.0
