The BS degree is a general art degree for the student who is not interested in specializing in one area of art. This degree requires 50 semester credits in Art courses, leaving 70 credits to fulfill all other General Education and University Studies requirements. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required for the BS degree. A grade of B- or better is required in all art (ART) and art history (ARTH) classes. Major requirements may not be taken on a pass/fail basis, except ART 2700 . This degree does not fulfill the requirements for entrance into graduate schools of art.
