About This Degree:
The equine science and management degree is a program that offers a unique combination of educational experiences through the comprehensive and foundational core sciences while learning about the horse through a carefully crafted selection of topics relevant to the equine enthusiast through both lecture and hands-on educational opportunities.

Minimum University Requirements
Admission Requirements For This Program
- New freshmen: Admitted to USU in Good Standing
- Transfer students from other institutions or other programs at USU: 2.75 GPA
Program Requirements:
- Attain a grade point average of at least 2.50 in all ADVS courses specified as requirements in their curricula.
- ADVS courses required for the major may be repeated only once to improve a grade.
- Courses required for the major may not be taken for a pass/fail grade.
- To graduate with this degree, students in Equine Science and Management must attain an overall GPA of at least 2.25.
