About This Degree
A physical education/coaching minor offers courses that will complement your degree and give you opportunities to learn about Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Fitness, as well as better ways to coach team sports. The minor can be adjusted to best fit teaching majors or non-teaching majors.

Core Minor Requirements (35-37 total credits)
This minor cannot be used alone for teaching licensure unless the student has a teaching major. Please consult with the academic advisor for more information about this.
The minor requires a 2.0 overall GPA to declare. Students must also have a 2.0 overall GPA to receive this minor upon graduation with a bachelor’s degree. Students who intend to use this minor with the Secondary Teaching Education Program (STEP) must have a C or better in minor courses.
Skill Development (3 credits required)
Complete three courses from the following:
Required Prerequisites (16-18 required credits)
Complete the following. BIOL 2320 and BIOL 2420 must be completed before taking KIN 4100 .
Professional Foundation (10 credits required)
Complete all the following:
Electives (6 credits required)
