Consulting - Minor

The consulting minor prepares students to manage people, processes and strategies in all types of organizations and to consult with organizational leaders and members on these issues. These skills are needed by students in business, engineering, agriculture, sciences and any technical discipline to get a job in consulting and excel in any job. Students will learn how to manage consulting projects, how to make recommendations based on data analytical analysis, how to implement change and implement a consulting process in working with executives.

Required Courses (11 Credits)
The Consulting Minor requires five classes for a total of 11 semester credit hours (2 credits from the MSLE 4250 - Internship or a SEED Program trip). Admission into the minor is required to enroll in the MSLE 4895 , Consulting Skills course. Applications for the minor can be found here: Consulting Minor Application form Consulting Minor Track Options: Track 1: General Consulting for Business and Industry Track 2: Small Business/Micro-enterprise Consulting A GPA of B- or above is required for minor coursework. Courses may not be taken on a pass/fail basis. Core Curriculum
