The Veterinary Technology Associate of Science program at Utah State University offers a hybrid, distributed learning model, combining online lectures with hands-on lab experiences at multiple campuses. Designed to meet Utah’s workforce demands, this program prepares students for AVMA certification and careers in animal care. Graduates can enter the workforce as veterinary technicians or continue their education in bioveterinary science or advanced degrees in veterinary medicine or veterinary public health. The program emphasizes accessibility and stackability, allowing students to build on existing credentials and pursue diverse career opportunities in veterinary and animal health fields.
Attain a grade point average of at least 2.5 in all ADVS courses. Attain a GPA of at least 2.25 for all required courses for the major.
