About this Degree

This two-year technical program, leading to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, emphasizes aircraft repair and maintenance. FAA regulations require students to earn a 70% or higher score to pass each course.

In addition, students must complete General Education requirements for the AAS degree. Federal Aviation Administration airframe and powerplant certification is available without General Education requirements.

Admission Requirements for this Program

  • New freshmen must be admitted to USU in Good Standing.

  • Transfer students from other institutions or other programs at USU must have a 2.0 GPA.
