About this Degree
The BFA in Art Education is a professional degree requiring above-average accomplishment in art. Students must first apply and be accepted to a specific emphasis area. Only students demonstrating considerable promise will be accepted for this more demanding professional degree program. This degree fulfills the requirements for entrance into graduate schools of art.

The highest math requirement for this degree is the fulfillment of the General Education Requirements of the Quantitative Literacy (QL) requirement.
Admission Requirements for this Program
New freshmen must be admitted to USU in Good Standing as Pre-Art or Pre-ID.
Transfer students from other institutions or other programs at USU are admitted with a 3.0 GPA. Students must also pass a competitive portfolio review. Space is limited. See department website for more information.
