About this Degree
The Aviation Technology - Aviation Management degree is designed for students who intend to pursue a career in airport management and unmanned aerial systems.
Aviation Operations Emphasis: This emphasis prepares students for a variety of aviation careers, including airport management, finance, Fixed Based Operator staff and working for business and corporate aviation.
Students will learn the discipline’s latest technology with hands-on and research-based courses. First- and second-year students will complete courses in aviation subjects such as aviation history, weather, flight principles, airport management, and start to take emphasis courses. During junior and senior years, students focus on deeper topics in their emphasis area, and prepare for careers with courses in airline management, aviation law, national airspace and more.
