Data, Service, and Systems Security are a crucial for every industry and organization. Outstanding job opportunities strongly favor those who understand and apply secure practices that reduce corporate risk, in any IT/IS field. The Cybersecurity Post-Bachelor’s Certificate program unveils the mysteries of vulnerabilities and sets students up for successful careers in proactive defense, allowing students to build these critical skills in as little as one to two semesters.

Careers in information systems and data technologies are multidisciplinary and require teamwork, critical thinking, and communication. Well-qualified applicants are encouraged to apply from any background in which they have developed and applied these skills. Potential applicants with little or no prior technical experience may first consider the program.

Note that the Cybersecurity Post-Bachelor’s Certificate can be completed on its own, or it can be stacked with any one of the other certificates offered by the Department of Data Analytics & Information Systems to meet the requirements of the program degree program.

Admission Requirements for this Program

To begin the Cybersecurity Post-Bachelor’s Certificate, applicants can submit an application form, along with the application fee and all undergraduate transcripts through the USU School of Graduate Studies at https://gradschool.usu.edu/apply/. TOEFL or IELTS scores are required for international students whose native language is not English. International students with a prior degree from a university in an English-speaking country are exempt from the TOEFL or IELTS exam. The School of Graduate Studies requires a minimum 3.0 GPA for the last 60 credits of prior undergraduate study.
