About this Degree

The Manufacturing Technology emphasis equips students with the skills needed to succeed in quality, reliability, and modern manufacturing environments. Students develop hands‑on experience with quality management systems, lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and statistical quality control.

Students are highly encouraged to complete the Quality and Reliability Certificate, which aligns closely with the emphasis and enhances career readiness. While the certificate is not required, students who choose not to complete it must work closely with their academic advisor to identify an approved set of alternative courses to fulfill emphasis requirements.
