About this Degree
The Manufacturing Technology emphasis equips students with the skills needed to thrive in advanced manufacturing, product development, food production, and quality assurance. Students gain experience in additive manufacturing, CAD, lean production, and statistical quality control, preparing them for roles in high-tech production environments.
Students choose one certificate—such as Additive and Advanced Manufacturing, Food Production Management, or Quality and Reliability—to tailor their education to specific career goals. Alternatively, students may work with their advisor to customize their coursework. Experiential learning opportunities, including internships and senior projects, help students transition smoothly into the workforce.
