About this Degree

The Intersectional Gender Studies (IGS) Minor offers students breadth and depth training in the interdisciplinary field of gender studies. This program will prepare students to think critically about social inequality at the intersection of race, ethnicity, social class, gender identity and expression and sexual identity. Students completing the minor will have the opportunity to take courses across a range of disciplines including anthropology, English, history, sociology, political science, psychology, education and biology.
