About this Degree
Geography is the study of space, place, and the relationships between people and our environment. With a Geography major, students learn essential skills to solve pressing problems at the local, national, and global scale. Geography is an interdisciplinary degree that includes coursework in the physical and social sciences, combined with technical expertise in the field of geographic information science.
Geographic Information Science Emphasis: This emphasis allows students to gain a solid foundation in geographic information systems and science (GIS). It provides professional preparation for careers in GIS.
