About this Degree

Program and Event Management prepares students to plan, deliver, and evaluate programs and events that create engaging experiences for diverse audiences. Students gain practical skills in event operations, marketing, budgeting, risk management, and guest experience through applied coursework and industry engagement. Graduates are prepared for careers in recreation and tourism, professional and nonprofit organizations, and resort or destination settings as event coordinators, program managers, and operations or guest experience professionals.
