About this Degree

The Veterinary Technology Associate of Science program at Utah State University offers a hybrid, distributed learning model, combining online lectures with hands-on lab experiences at multiple campuses. Admission Requirements for this Program

In addition to admission to Utah State University, applicants must submit:

  • Professional resume (maximum two pages)

  • Completed Veterinary Technology Career Exploration Form documenting animal and veterinary exposure

  • Reflective statement (maximum 250 words) describing insights gained from veterinary observation experience

  • Documentation of a minimum of 20 hours of veterinary or animal clinical observation completed within the past two years. Documentation must include the name and contact information of the supervising veterinarian or facility.
