About this Degree
The Environmental Geosciences - Certificate is an option that allows undergraduate students to obtain employable skills without having to complete an entire bachelor's degree program. To be proficient in environmental geosciences, students need a core understanding of physical and environmental geology, applied geoscience techniques, Earth materials, and Earth surface processes. In addition, there are multiple added skills and knowledge sets that build usefully upon this core in Geology. The series of elective courses is intentionally broad, including courses offered by the Environment & Society, Plants, Soils and Climate, and Watershed Sciences Departments.
