About this Degree

The B.S. in Planning & Design Technologies undergraduate program prepares future professionals to work in the environmental planning and design fields by equipping them with practical skills in design, drafting, representation, construction, and technology.  The program prepares students to bridge the gap between planning and design and the technical aspects of practice. Graduates will support planners, designers (landscape architects and architects), and engineers in developing detailed construction documents, 3D models, geographic information analyses, and digital representations/renderings using software like AutoCAD, ArcMap, and Revit (Building Information Modeling).
