Course Learning Outcomes
1. Compare the anatomy and physiology of digestive systems across animal species and explain how structure relates to nutrient utilization.
2. Describe the digestion, absorption, and metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins, and minerals in animals.
3. Analyze the roles of nutrients in supporting different physiological states and evaluate how nutrient imbalances affect physiological function.
