Course Learning Outcomes

1. Explain how hormones regulate physiological processes in vertebrates at the molecular, cellular, and whole-organism levels.
2. Describe mechanisms of hormone–receptor interaction and downstream signal transduction.
3. Interpret the organization and regulation of major endocrine axes, including positive and negative feedback systems.
4. Analyze endocrine function in healthy organisms and evaluate how disease or environmental disruptions alter hormonal regulation.
5. Critically evaluate primary scientific literature in endocrinology and communicate scientific interpretations clearly.
