Course Learning Outcomes
1. Develop the ability to listen to technical concerns, review maintenance documents, and utilize diagnostic techniques.
2. Demonstrate the necessary skills to plan work procedures, safely disassemble, repair, and reassemble various equipment systems and components, such as engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and braking systems.
3. Explain how different systems (e.g., electrical, fuel, cooling, suspension) interact and how to ensure all components work properly together after repairs.
4. Apply all safety concepts and follow proper safety guidelines and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA and EPA standards) for handling hazardous materials and performing work in a shop environment.
