Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate aircraft control and coordination through all phases of flight in accordance with FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS). 

  2. Apply aeronautical decision-making (ADM), risk management, and situational awareness to maintain safety throughout flight operations. 

  3. Perform normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures using proper checklist discipline and adherence to FAA regulations. 

  4. Execute takeoffs, landings, navigation, and communication procedures to meet or exceed FAA Private Pilot proficiency standards. 

  5. Correlate flight maneuvers and operational performance with underlying aerodynamic principles and regulatory requirements. 

  6. Demonstrate readiness for the FAA Private Pilot practical test (check ride) by meeting or surpassing all applicable completion standards.
