Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Ground Training: Expand on the knowledge of a Private Pilot and prepare students to be safe, competent, and professional Commercial Pilots. Gaining in-depth factual knowledge and further understand the fundamental principles of aviation, as well as how to apply the course materials in your aviation training. 

  2. Regulatory Knowledge: Understand and comply with aviation regulations, including airspace rules and air traffic procedures. 

  3. Flight Planning: Emphasize the development of critical thinking, expand cross country flight planning knowledge through the use of sectionals and digital apps, understanding FAA regulations, recognize weather factors, gain further aircraft systems familiarity, expand knowledge of emergency procedures, and develop decision-making skills through scenarios. Learning about advanced aircraft systems will include technologically advanced aircraft and high-performance aircraft.
