Course Learning Outcomes

  1. This course will prepare students for the Federal Aviation Administration written exam. 

  2. Students will apply FAA regulations pertinent to aircraft dispatch, meteorology, weather observation, analysis and hazards, navigation, ensuring they can interpret and apply these regulations effectively in practical scenarios. 

  3. Students will evaluate data concerning all phases of flight. Including take-off and departure data of an airplane reviewing Air Traffic Control procedures, airports, and company procedures. Inflight data such as routing, alternates and flight plan filing. Inflight data, and arrival and approach procedures. 

  4. Students will understand post-flight dispatch procedures such as flight documentation. 

  5. Students will evaluate and participate in scenarios on abnormal and emergency aircraft procedures.
