Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will demonstrate the ability to use the writing process as it relates to technical writing and oral communication in aviation. 

  2. CI: Develop an ability to intentionally craft language for a variety of purposes. 

  3. CI: Engage in an iterative process of improving communication and applying feedback from an informed audience.

  4. CI: Write and speak with purpose to different audiences while negotiating various genre and disciplinary conventions. 
    Students will be familiar with FAA guidelines and industry expectations in documentation for aviation. 

  5. CI: Write and speak with purpose to different audiences while negotiating various genre and disciplinary conventions.

    Students will develop skills in both individual writing and group writing as needed and expected in industry.

    Students will practice applying writing and pragmatic thinking to various aspects of the aviation world as it relates to writing and documentation.
