Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of high-altitude, multi-engine aircraft systems, including de-icing, oxygen, and environmental systems. 

  2. Plan and conduct high-altitude flights safely, integrating considerations such as oxygen requirements, aircraft performance, and weather conditions. 

  3. Identify and mitigate risks associated with icing and high-altitude operations, applying appropriate de-icing procedures and operational strategies. 

  4. Understand multi-engine aircraft performance characteristics during normal and emergency operations. 

  5. Obtain the knowledge and practical skills necessary to receive high-altitude endorsements, meeting FAA standards.
