Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Recognize diverse realities of different human populations and their economies and environments around the world.
Interpret correctly data about the world presented in a variety of forms, including in maps, graphs, and tables.
Describe the human impact on the global environment and compare the relationships between societies and their environments at various scales.
Apply the concept of globalization to understand key aspects of social and environmental change and identify how places around the world are linked through different kinds of exchange.
Analyze patterns of unevenness in socioeconomic development, demographic change, and indicators of human wellbeing.
