Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe and compare a variety of approaches geographers take to researching and understanding human-environment relationships around the world.

  2. Apply concepts of human-environment geography to analyze human-environment interactions and related social interactions in current and past human societies.

  3. Conduct secondary research on a topic of human-environment geography of personal or professional interest.

  4. Communicate more effectively in both written and oral forms.
